Engagements

Six days, or six months. Both are a real answer.

The shortest engagement is a six-day assessment. The longest runs in increments for as long as it keeps earning it. Four ways in, each standing on its own — stop after any of them and you keep everything produced up to that point.

The arithmetic

What is it costing you now?

Three numbers you already half-know. Move them until they look like your business — then read what follows against what you get back.

re-keying, chasing status, producing the same document again

This is arithmetic, not a finding. It rests on three numbers you guessed. The assessment replaces all three with numbers we observed — and tells you which of those hours are actually worth automating.

Arithmetic on your own guesses, not a finding — what the number is and is not.

The ladder

Four rungs, and you can get off at any of them.

Most people start at the first and decide the rest afterwards, with the report in front of them. Nothing here requires the one below it.

Assessment

Six daysthree on site, three in analysis

Three days inside the operation, three days working out what we saw, and one recommendation specific enough to act on. The fastest way to know whether any of this is worth your attention.

  • Three days on site — the floor, the back office, and the seams
  • Three days of research and discovery once we leave
  • One change, costed, with what it returns and what it risks
  • The written report and implementation guide, yours to keep

Starters

Fixedagreed before we begin

One of three ready-made agent teams — social, messaging or reviews — configured around your business and handed over working. A fixed price that does not move once agreed.

  • Social, messaging or reviews
  • The agents and the suite that runs them
  • Running in two to five weeks
  • Yours, in your repositories

Custom build

Hourlyestimated first, stop any time

When nothing off the shelf fits. Built from the guide the assessment produced, billed by the hour against an estimate you agree first, in increments you can stop at.

  • Estimated from the guide before anything starts
  • Billed hourly, in reviewable increments
  • Agent workflows in your own repositories
  • Stop whenever you want — you keep what is built

Your AI department

Ongoingsized by you

The team on hand afterwards. Kept current as tools, APIs and models change, and available for anything AI across the business — including the parts we had nothing to do with.

  • From patched-and-secure at the low end
  • To working as part of your team at the other
  • Anything AI, not only what we built
  • No lock-in — we transfer it cleanly whenever you ask

Every engagement is scoped on the free call and quoted in writing before anything starts. Fixed means fixed — the assessment and the starters do not move once agreed. Hourly work is estimated first, and you are told when an estimate moves rather than after.

Questions

Before you ask.

Why are there no prices on this page?

Because a number without a scope is a guess, and we would rather quote you than have you guess. Every engagement is priced in writing after the free call, once we know how many sites, how many systems and how much of the operation we actually have to see. Nothing is booked before you have that in front of you.

What does the assessment actually cost?

It depends on how much there is to walk — sites and system count, not headcount. We tell you on the call, in writing, before you commit to anything, and the figure does not move afterwards.

Is the assessment fee credited against the build?

Yes. If you go on to build with us, what you paid for the assessment comes off the first invoice. It is not conditional on doing so — the report and the implementation guide are yours either way, and taking them to your own team or another vendor costs you nothing extra.

Which parts are fixed and which are hourly?

The assessment and the starters are fixed: agreed before we begin, and they do not move. Custom builds are billed by the hour, because the scope is yours to change once you have seen the first increment and a fixed quote would only mean padding it to cover a change we actively want you to make. We estimate before starting and tell you when an estimate moves rather than after.

Do we have to buy the implementation from you?

No. The implementation guide is written to be handed to any competent team, including your own. We would rather be chosen than depended upon.

What if you find that AI would not help us?

Then the report says so, in writing, with reasons. That is a legitimate outcome, you keep the analysis, and you have spent six days of our attention to avoid spending considerably more of your own.

How long does an engagement take?

The assessment is six days — three on site, three on analysis — with the report presented within a week of that. A starter is running two to five weeks after it is agreed. A custom build moves in increments of two to three weeks, and how many of those there are is a decision you make one at a time.
